Pontus Marine way of starting their investment is really not clear at all. First they got no experience in what they getting into and don't have the experience of an fishing company apart amassing a lot of money from Somaliland Naive population. I was astonished looking at their web page finding this;
"The company is open for investment. Great care is taken to protect investors’ money and to work towards generating profits in short term. Our financial model indicates that the company is capable to generate more than the initial investments within four years or less. "
Pontus Marine says that their company is capable to generate more than he initial investments with in four years or less. From that sentence you can see how unsure they are because them their selves are not so confident by just reading their visions and yet people are rallying to invest into a company that has no clear purpose nor terms and conditions.
Why would people invest?
What insurance are they offering?
Do they have what it takes?
Do they have invested before into fishing and knows the market as well as clientele?
The real answer is no and no one has ever asked them which I believe would have put them in an great embarrassment. They say they are a company and yet they say great care is taken to protect the investors money. My question is how? How can they protect investors money when they haven't dealt with any? I would love the people to look very carefully at what Pontus Marine is offering because they got no agenda at all apart drawing a beautiful picture to the people of Somaliland that they will be rich in an instant. At their home page it is written " Pontus Marine Limited is Somaliland's first global fishing company focusing on supplying quality fishery to both domestic and overseas markets." How could they name them selves Somaliland first global fishing company? When they haven't done any fishing at all! From here you can see that not only they got not a single sense of what investing means nor how to. The other thing is they also quoted that they focusing on supplying quality fishery to both domestic and overseas market. And I wonder how could they be focusing on that when the only focus of Pontus Marine I have seen is the TV shows adverts on how to get money from the people. I remember TELESOM and when they started to open share to the public and that was after several years of services which assured people to invest in it because they knew the profit and how TELESOM operates as well as what the odds were.
When it comes to Pontus Marine the only thing that catches the eyes is fraud.
