Puntland: 9 Killed Bomb Suicide and Presidents Hassan Condenm


5-12-2013-(GNA)-A police official says a suicide car bomber, targeting two pick-up trucks carrying Puntland Marine Forces in northern Somalia, has killed nine people and wounded 37 others.




Saeed Abdi, a senior police officer in Somalia’s semi-autonomous region of Puntland, said Thursday that a woman and child were among those who were killed in the blast in the region’s commercial hub of Bossaso.




No one has yet to claim responsibility for the attack but Abdi blames it on the al-Qaida-linked insurgent group al-Shabab.




On the Other Hand, Security Minister of Puntland Talks this Attack, and he is Blamed Al-shabaab Groups.




“Puntand Govermens and its Civilians Ready to Defend Their home”said Kalif Isse Mudan, the Minister oo Security.




President Hassan Sh. Mohamud strongly condemn and sends his heartfelt condolences to the victims of today's horrific attack in the port city of Bosaso Puntland region.

President Hassan concluded by saying "to the Families and friends of the victims your government is with you and you are not alone in this fight"




Al-Shabab is trying to expand its influence in northern Somalia after it was pushed out of its strongholds in southern Somalia last year by African Union and Ethiopian forces.




Puntland and Al-shabaab Groups were Fought  Several times with in Higthland and Mountains Area of Galgala last two Years.
